The focal point of this kitchen is the granite backsplash. The homeowners fell in love with it because it reminded them of an old world map. The cherry cabinets bring out the brown undertone of the granite and warm up the space. We chose light colored floor tiles to open up the room. In addition to the canned lights and under cabinet lighting, we also installed LED lights in the cabinet toe kick area. The toe kick lights add visual interest and act as a night lights.
