Visitors Welcome

One of the reasons the homeowners wanted to update their guest bath was to be able to use part of the bathroom to enlarge the adjoining bedroom that they were converting into their new TV area. Of the remaining space, the homeowners asked that we create a bathroom that is guest worthy. To meet this challenge, we created a floor plan and used design elements to make guests feel welcome and to create the illusion of space. For visual impact, we installed a floating vanity with a vessel sink topped by a 3" granite edge and lit by under cabinet lighting. The shower wall has a tile design comprised of a wide band of harlequin tiles in black, silver and iridescent glass banded by chrome hardware against a monochromatic grey tile. A large framed vanity mirror, a walk-in shower with a frameless glass enclosure, a soffit-less vanity area and a decorative ledge all help to create visual space. The toilet boasts a heated bidet seat. This bathroom is ready for business.
