The goal of this remodel was to create a more functional master bathroom that was open, find additional storage, enlarge the shower and make it a steam shower, install heated flooring and a towel warmer. We opened up the bathroom by replacing the wall that separated the toilet and shower area from the vanity with a pony wall. We enlarged the shower by expanding it into the linen cabinet that was behind it. For storage, we placed a tall cabinet that could be used to store towels and other toiletry items and incorporated a blow dryer caddy as part of the vanity cabinet. A full height mirror behind the vanity that had light drilled through it further enhanced the open feeling.
