This beautiful Arlington project was focused around a second story dormer addition, with an emphasis on modernizing the architecture and design of the home. Thanks to some fantastic design work, we were able to breathe new life into an old home. One of the major design changes involved demolishing the existing front porch, and wrapping the new open space with cedar ship lap. Additionally, the 2nd story of the home was given a fresh layout, with a brand new master suite. Lastly, a gabled dormer was framed to convert the 3rd floor from unfinished storage to a new space complete with two bedrooms, a full bath, and laundry closet. As usual, the finishes used in this project were as high quality as ever, and can really inspire some great ideas for future projects!
