We met the homeowners about a year before actually starting this project. After consulting with them on where to put the addition on their house and going over some pros and cons of each location, they were ready to get started. We introduced them to an architect who came up with the design and after finely tuning it to their needs we got to work! This project consisted of expanding the house with a 1 story addition and new rear porch. The inside space could be best characterized asll a sunroom, a mudroom or year-round enclosed porch. The space can also accommodate many other uses as well. Some of the fun features of this addition include the brick we added to the foundation and included cedar shingles that match the exterior making the home look truly like an original design. The homeowners picked out slate-like tile and new windows for their addition to give it a unique look on the inside. For the outside they went with a PVC deck that is completely maintenance free and looks gorgeous. This space is bright, comfortable and adds to an already great home. It was a pleasure to do this work for such a nice family and everyone was pleased with the results.
