BAMO

Chileno Bay Resort

On the southern tip of the Baja Peninsula, where desert dunes meet the Sea of Cortez, BAMO reimagined luxury through a contemporary Mexican lens. Designed for Auberge Resorts Collection, Chileno Bay Resort offers a modern, sunlit take on Baja life - deeply relaxed yet elevated by refined craftsmanship and an immersive sense of place.

The interiors embrace contrast and clarity: light marble floors meet warm wood ceilings, clean-lined forms soften against textured stone walls, and white plaster surfaces are punctuated by bold encaustic tile. Framing the landscape was central to the design, from the dramatic open-air arrival to the three-tiered pool cascading toward the sea, every gesture amplifies the connection to the terrain.

BAMO collaborated closely with regional artisans to source local stone, tile, and handcrafted details that feel rooted yet fresh. The award-winning spa, THE WELL, continues the narrative with Baja-based healing rituals and elemental materials. Across rooms, villas, and public spaces, the design blends effortless elegance with laid-back warmth, luxury defined not by formality but by authenticity.
