BAMO

Palo Alto Residence

Working with a creative and open-minded client, BAMO reimagined the residence as a Montecito-inspired retreat, where elegant materials, curated finishes, and natural light shape a space that feels timeless and personal. Every room balances historical continuity with a fresh perspective.

The standout moment: a gallery-like primary bathroom, inspired by an aquatic motif and clad in a shimmering de Gournay wallcovering. A medallion of hand-laid SICIS tiles anchors the floor, while soft metallic hues and sea-glass lacquer connect the space to the client’s love of water. Throughout, custom millwork, lighting, and architectural detailing elevate the home into a serene, character-rich sanctuary.
