With its wrap-around porch and clapboard siding, the exterior of this custom-built home has classic Cape Cod appeal while the interior has a more modern feel. The site is quite sloped so the porch also serves to add level outdoor space. Our clients – a young couple – opted for an open floor plan on the first floor. The kitchen features light-wood cabinetry and a granite-topped L-shaped island. The island has eating space and a cook top that has an eye-catching, stainless steel hood fan. Multiple sets of sliders open up to the porch and fill the space with sunlight. The master suite, located on the second story of the home, has an attached private balcony.
