For this project, Patriot Builders freshened up the home’s exterior by replacing the cedar shingles, adding two dormers for visual interest and adding a farmer’s porch as well. Inside the home, we gutted an existing kitchen and removed a wall separating it from the dining room. The kitchen now feels much more open and spacious. The new white cabinetry makes the space lighter overall. In the addition is a new first-floor master suite. The bedroom features a vaulted ceiling and a sitting area positioned in front of a bank of windows. The bathroom – done with white tile, bead board and cabinets – includes a large, jetted tub and a separate walk-in shower.
