Wood Wise was asked to design and build a new porch, covered but not screened, for our homeowners to look out onto their large, private yard. For cool mornings and evenings we included a feature stone fireplace. The stonework is particularly well-done which adds a hand-crafted quality as well as the comfort of gas logs.
This 27’ porch has become the family nesting place not only for our recently retired clients but for their children and grandchildren as well. They enjoy the open sides, the intimate connection with the natural setting and even the sounds of frogs and rain on the metal roof.
