The classic look of this project involved an open concept encompassing a main entry, living room, dining room and kitchen areas. This project was the second of a 3-phase whole-house remodeling project which bridged the master suite to the family room and bedrooms.
This extensive job involved gutting the entire kitchen and replacing a load-bearing wall with a concealed beam to allow for an enlarged open concept kitchen design. Plumbing and electrical was reconfigured to coordinate with new cabinetry (by Classic Kitchens, Oklahoma City). Windows and doors were replaced; Natural stone tile was installed on the fireplace surround and kitchen backsplash areas.
Hard maple with cherry wood finish was used for beams, columns, panel moulding, 7 1/4" baseboard, crown moulding, window trim and the fireplace surround.
