This home, located in the Treadwell Addition, needed a cover over the large 500+ square foot patio overlooking a pool and small cabana.
The design called for a roof structure to be added in such a way that its appearance would blend seamlessly with design elements of the original construction. We achieved this by building a roof structure, matching the existing slope, fascia, soffit details, and roofing materials.
Load-bearing posts were anchored to concrete piers, wrapped with wood and trimmed with applied moulding paired on each column face. Composite deck material was used for bench seating at each corner of the patio.
Coffered ceiling detail was used to increase ceiling height and accommodate ceiling fans.
