Elegant Restoration and Update

Our client wanted us to keep the overall feel of a classic 19th century home, while still incorporating some major updates to this full gut rehab project.

The kitchen was completely remodeled, including installing a brand new gas range and exhaust system, and we exchanged an old peninsula for a trendier breakfast nook. The remodeled countertops, made now of zinc and 2'' thick walnut butcher block, couldn't have been a more perfect choice for this home, as zinc is not only a natural anti-bacterial material but also ages with beauty. In a few years, the countertops will showcase a stunning blue-gray patina. One of the most unique and personalized additions to the kitchen is the penny wall, which is a tribute to the client's late father who collected dimes throughout his lifetime.

The three bathrooms in this condo were also completely remodeled. As some of these bathrooms were on the smaller size, we made sure to add in features that would create the illusion of having more space - such as floating cabinets, frosted glass elements, and contrasting colors.

For the master bathroom, we created a double walk-in shower that consists of two large rainfall shower heads and a full steam. One stand-out feature of the master bathroom is the Morrocan tile that can be seen throughout the bathtub, shower, and sinks.
