Full Kitchen Renovation - Exton
This was a complete gut renovation project. From flooring, to cabinets, to lighting and appliances. The original kitchen was typical builders grade...all space, poor function and no character. From cold hard terracotta tile on the floors to golden oak cabinets and granite countertops....it all had to GO!
By installing rich brown oak flooring, we created a warm base that the rest of the kitchen could build upon. Centered by a gently curved walnut Island with walnut burl veneered panels and a raised and curved eating counter, the Island is the center of attention...both visually and workwise...since it also contains the cooktop and an arched, glass and stainless steel range hood. The perimeter creamy white cabinets are accented by upper door panels made of 3-form onyx and back lit with in-cabinet LED lighting. The back splash of blue/green glass tiles is highlighted by the under cabinet LED lighting and is kept free of switches and outlets by mounting those electrical devices in a low profile, under cabinet wiring fixture. Out of sight but still easily accessible!
