This Powder Room was created in a space that was previously an under stairs storage closet. We moved the Green Door from it's original location in the kitchen....where the vanity is now located...to the side wall off the 1st Flr Hallway to make room for the vanity to the left and the toilet to the right. Beside the basic functionality of a 1st Flr Powder Rm, the clients wanted to accent the space with some railroad themed items in honor of their father and grandfather who had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad. We installed old boxcar siding on one wall, with a custom wall sconce made with old glass insulators over a custom made mirror framed with boxcar wood and a single, caboose type wall lantern to light the toilet area.
