New home, new chapter, this Baby boomer couple with the boomer rang effect (children moving home temporarily) bought a new home that needed to be fully furnished while, fitting in a few sentimental items. Window coverings, furniture, accessories, artwork, and bedding with a transitional, classy, comfortable feel for a couple entering a new chapter of life. The Breakfast nook Still Life artwork is the inspiration for the color palette, gold, gray, and an add of navy.

We created a comfortable multipurpose family room for entertaining, working and relaxing. The sofa table is not just a great display table but is a hidden desk for working on your laptop. Four textured custom swivel chairs and a blue velvet sofa arranged symmetrically allowing for plenty of seating to entertain family and friends. Navy houndstooth poufs add additional seating in front of the fireplace. Accents of gold were used throughout this family room including the round rose gold coffee table. Gold cuff link wallpaper was applied to the wall behind the floating shelving on either side of the family room fireplace for added texture. Gold, navy and gray accessories were added to the shelves to tie everything together. Cherry with walnut inlay bed frame, gray pinstriped duvet with gray patterned and solid pillows, navy pedestal table and gold chevron slipper chairs make this a sophisticated, classy master bedroom oasis. Simply adding a sleeper sofa, gold jute rug, bird wall art and reupholstering a sentimental chair is all this study needed. The beautiful existing walnut baby grand piano anchors this spacious sitting room. Brown leather club chairs with nail heads, rose gold end table, navy table lamp, gray and navy traditional wool rug create the perfect place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Gold wise egg plant stands, navy bar cart and acrylic musical note artwork complete the sitting room.
