Ripon Modern Interior Design
Electric bold colors and playful art is exactly what this young family of four needs. Newly built modern home in Ripon is filled with concrete gray tones including the marble floors throughout the home, it desperately needs some warmth and a splash of color to balance out all the gray. Custom blown glass chandelier of ocean blue and turquoise’s defined the color palette for this home. We choose a bright triad color palette of turquoise, magenta, golden yellow with copper accents.
Bronze bowls on the wall add dimension and depth to the entry space. Two custom made settees upholstered in a gray textured fabric with bronze nail heads complement the massive existing concrete quartz dining table. A canvas painting of a nude with tones of golden yellow, turquoise and gray’s on the wall ties together the turquoise glass chandelier, creating a sophisticated modern dining room. A top the eleven foot long table are rose gold hurricane candle holders. Anchoring and softening the dining space is a blue gray and copper toned wool rug with viscose accents. (Installing the rug took eight men with heavy steel tubing to lift and move the table so we could unroll and lay the beautiful rug.)
Adding a copper cuff coffee table with glass top, and turquoise glass vases to the living room further carries the color palette. Two casual chairs were updated with a fun gray velvet pattern fabric. Adding some abstract copper canvas artwork on either side of the fireplace pulled everything together.
The spacious master retreat is warmed up with a cream bench at the foot of the bed and a pair of matching upholstered winged back chairs embellished with bronze nail heads. Splashing of color were added with magenta pillows and throw. A media console table under the wall mounted TV, white leather front and walnut night stands, with a golden bronze table lamp balance out the room. Acrylic black and white artwork of a man and woman with umbrellas adds a flare of fun to the master oasis.
We created a bright and fun bedroom for the eldest daughter when she comes home from college. Octagon turquoise night stands and flip top desk/console table add a punch of color to this young woman’s bedroom. We choose fun colorful bird artwork, embossed black and white bird figurines, colorful bird pillow and black birds nest hanging pendant to represent a young woman spreading her wings at college. An acrylic ghost chair at the desk completes this modern young woman’s bedroom.
The youngest daughter gets a fun playful bedroom with bright magenta, and yellow bedding with a turquoise pom pom pillow. Custom turquoise night stands and desk are the final punch of color. A fun ghost desk chair and magenta and turquoise ballet posed canvas artwork complete this young girl’s bedroom.
Bathrooms are fully accessorized with artwork and countertop pieces. Finally the patio space and poolside are decked out with with woven lounge chairs, beige umbrellas, a circular poolside bed with canopy, curved benches for around the fire pit and white sculptured “hand” stools. Enhancing conversational areas with modular sofas with coffee tables, a large dining table, and bar stools at the bar and outdoor kitchen area complete this poolside patio oasis.
