This small backyard remodel wanted to transfer a large, hot grass filled areas into a interesting area that flows into different rooms. A shade structure was added to the patio and large boulders were brought in. A large variety of perennial and ornamental grasses were used for color and contrast. This project was installed in 2008 by Far West Landscape. In 2010 the home owner stained the concrete patios to soften the appearance of the grey concrete. The plants have also started to fill in quite nicely.
