Large-scale hobbies don't have to take over your home; you may have an out-of-the-way space that can be dedicated to what you love. When the Make-A-Wish Foundation called me to make a dream come true for a 3-1/2-year-old Union Beach, NJ boy who loves playing trains with his dad, I was more than happy to help. Originally the elaborate train setup took over the main floor of the house, but not anymore. This award-winning "traintastic" attic space was transformed into his own personal train depot, complete with themed vignettes and plenty of unobtrusive, much needed storage space.
