How do you define “happy colors”? That was the question we set out to answer for this client whose energy and aura are perfectly suited for the bold, bright, happy colors her house displays. We started exploring wallpapers and fabrics until we found “the perfect ones” that elicited a happy dance. The rooms unfolded from there. With three kids, we needed to weave storage and durable finishes into the mix. The kitchen and bathrooms needed to make the most of their small footprint while working with the original bones of the house. We designed the interiors not just to maximize space but to delight the senses. The result is a secret garden of rooms that thrive on a new purpose and provide sighs of happiness whenever you walk through their bright spaces.
