The configuration in the sun room creates both a library and bountiful entertainment space. The bay window is a natural spot for a game table. An entire wall of storage is accented by bookshelves and a central cork board that is used to post cards and photos.

Two different ceiling treatments define these two outdoor rooms. The seating area has a wooden trey ceiling, and the dining and grilling area has exposed beams.

Outdoor living in Florida demands shaded spaces. The tanning ledge in the pool also assists in cooling efforts, as does the sitting edge along the lap pool. The hot tub is located on the far right.

The shallow entrance to the pool is a tanning ledge, and is a wonderful spot for lounging and a great play area for smaller children. The sitting areas along the edge of the pool, in addition to being great for lounging, enhances safety for children and less experienced swimmers in the pool.

Pineapple House designers updated the home’s front façade by adding a portico reminiscent of Bohemian island architecture.
