Exterior:
We helped conceptualize then build a waterfront home on a fabulous lot
Goal is to maximize the indoor/outdoor connection
Enormous code-compliant glass walls grant uninterrupted vistas
We supplement light and views with hurricane-strength transoms
Both functional and decorative pools are constructed on home’s three sides
Pool’s edges run under home’s perimeter, and from most angles, residence appears to be floating
From front yard, can see into living room, through house, to water/inlet behind it
Interior:
Bring native Florida limestone from exterior to interior, use as accent walls
Define contiguous Living/Dining/Kitchen areas with furniture and custom ceilings
Four open, metal living room chandeliers add balance & rhythm to Living without obstructing views
Offer abundant storage in kitchen with wall of decorative cabinetry and two islands
Kitchen cabinets hide door to walk-in pantry, located behind cabinetry’s façade
Antique, mirrored glass-door cabinets flank kitchen hood feature
Pop-up television raises from front island’s quartzite countertop
Adjacent wine cellar has custom, curved, insulated glass doors which open electronically
Cellar banquette offers a retreat and softens the look and acoustics of the limestone accent wall
Calacatta marble ascends from Master Bath countertops to frame mirrors on His & Her vanities
Marble’s arch mimics that of the bath’s built-in linen closet
We incorporate controllable lighting in the beams of the master’s custom ceiling
Rear patio’s limestone columns have electric roll-down screens & allow outdoor living without insects
We project the fire pit into the lap pool so it appears to be floating
Private guest suite and home office with solid walnut walls are located in nearby, separate building

Calacatta marble ascends from the Master Bath countertops to frame mirrors on His & Her vanities. Wallpaper on the wall adds texture and acoustic control to the space, which has a lot of hard surfaces (stone, glass and marble) that must be addressed audibly.

The rear patio’s limestone columns have electric roll-down screens & allow outdoor living without pests, when preferred. We project the fire pit into the lap pool so from most angles, it appears to be floating, as does the house.
