An addition and master suite remodel of a center hall colonial revival house in a historic district featuring a gabled roof, clapboard siding, and 6-pane double hung windows. The remodel and master bath addition will blend with the character of the existing house by duplicating its material, scale and style. The addition will sit on top of an existing one-story addition on the right side of the house and will not take up any new footprint. The scope includes:
1. Reconfigure the master suite to include more space, lighting (natural and artificial) and better traffic flow. Update master bedroom, add arched room opening, a new window, add sconces and custom built-in bedside tables, and more.
3. Move bathroom entrance out of sleeping area and build master bathroom addition: re do master bath
5. Reconfigure master closet
6.Convert existing 'Bedroom #2' into a home office to accommodate two people, with a copy center and customized built-ins with ample storage space to organize files, children’s school memorabilia, etc.
