Metolius River Resort Cabins

This group of 12 cabins along the Metolius River replaced a run-down RV park. All utilities are now underground and the cabins are located so that almost all have great views of the river. The Landscape Architect is Stangeland and Associates.

The cabins are set back from the river a distance of 50'. Most of them across this meadow like open space to a beautiful view of the Metolius River

This is the river side of the cabin with double French doors and a deck with seating. The windows above provide light and view to the loft.

This is the side away from the river with a small entry porch.

The entire cabin is covered in pine paneling and the flooring is pine boards. The river rock fireplace is on a side wall so the river view can be enjoyed via the French doors.

The kitchen cabinets are made of pine. The main table is in the kitchen and doubles as a place to hang out and another prep surface.

The area above the living room is open and the rest of the first floor has a sleeping loft above. The windows in the gable end provide light and view to the loft along with a dormer.
