The modern farmhouse style and its relaxed, welcoming feel appealed to my clients for their newly built family home. The dining room walls are covered in a chunky grasscloth, with modern art and a contemporary lighting fixture. The large kitchen and adjacent family room are in shades of blue and white, with green accents that reference the outdoors. The built-in cabinetry provides ample display for books and plants, with a sofa, two arm chairs and large ottoman for TV viewing. All the fabrics and rugs are family (&dog!) friendly.
