Colorful custom chairs and stools in fun coordinating fabrics create a unique space. A white and navy rug in an interesting geometric print is a beautiful contrast to the dark wood table.

The plan started by changing the awkward island shape into a large rectangle with seating for four. The old "busy" granite was replaced by a black contemporary granite around the periphery and a stunning quartzite stone on the island.
