Pergolas

If you are looking for some shade on your deck but don't really want a full cover, a pergola is a good option to consider. Pergolas will add some shade while providing an attractive design element.
There are quite a few different styles in our photos that show how the addition can enhance your deck or backyard. There are countless possibilities to choose from depending on the type of wood, composite, vinyl, aluminum, shape, design of support posts, etc.
This 20' x 20' cedar pergola was built over an existing concrete patio to provide some shade for our clients. It has allowed them to create the outdoor oasis they have always dreamed about.
Cedar Pergola Creates Outdoor Oasis
This 930 SF deck features a cedar pergola at one end. There are two stucco half-walls built with lights to create a grilling area. We used the stone columns to anchor the pergola.

We worked with our clients to design and build this composite deck with a 23' x 16' cedar pergola. In order to provide some privacy, we added a drop down shade on one end of the pergola. We then stained the pergola in a custom, solid-body match to Sherwin Williams Gauntlet Grey.
