This near-knotless, B-grade Redwood deck provides a natural setting that enhances life among the pines. Among the many unique features, a tri-corner arbor adds an interesting architectural element to the deck. This redwood, snow fence railing with round metal balusters meets form and function by providing a polished look while allowing for easy snow removal. DBS also installed a redwood drinkcap along the top of the railing. The homeowner was concerned about wildlife nesting under the deck, so DBS installed a lattice system around the perimeter and half-closed to prevent animal access at that point. We also added a built-in dry space for wood storage to make it easier for the customer in winter.
