Queen Anne Tudor
A complete remodel of a 1908 Queen Anne home, focusing on maintaining the historic feel and character of the home, while including the latest in energy efficient design and user friendly smart home applications. Special attention was given to green remodeling including energy efficiency in insulation, windows and heating/cooling, reuse and restoration of fixtures, reuse of wood and salvage of as much of the building as possible including front door, floors, stairs, fireplace, hardware, sinks and tub. The counters are Carrera marble, there is a soaking tub that looks out over the view of the sound, a separate tiled shower and an antique wooden vanity.
The kitchen has granite counter tops, with tile backsplash, glass door upper cabinets, pendant lighting, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors, recessed lighting and old fashioned style bar stools for the island.
