We created an open great room with natural light flooding in from all directions and removed the carpet and vinyl flooring in these spaces and replaced it with hardwood flooring throughout. New cherry cabinets and granite countertops were installed. The large kitchen island creates a nice separation between the kitchen and the other spaces, as well as providing the family with an informal dining space.
