This project created an open floor plan with a contemporary style in mind with the intent to connect the basement to the exterior. We established a clean look with rift sawn, ebony stained oak cabinetry, floating shelving in the office, a simple fireplace with floating walnut bench/hearth, hidden roller shades at the windows, an exposed steel beam, and simple trim profiles with the trim painted the same color as the walls allowing it to fade away.
