A large 1 acre lot gave this active family plenty of room for the 6500 SF house, 1000SF pool cabana/ guest house, large pool, half-court basketball court and small soccer field. Entertaining their family and also friends of their two young sons was an important element in the design of this home. Materials were chosen, both inside and out, that were durable and had a comfortable aesthetic. A special collections room was also designed for the extensive array of artifacts consisting of arrowheads (collected over many years) dinosaur bones and beautiful gems and minerals.
