Entertaining is an important part of this empty nesters home. They often open their home to charitable organizations for social events or fund raisers but they also enjoy more intimate gatherings. The kitchen was designed with a tall stacking pocket door that pulls out on flush tracks in the ceiling and floor to conceal the kitchen from the large family room for large catered affairs. When the family is home, or friends are over, the door is hidden inside a large pocket in the wall. Large windows give the home a wonderful light open feeling.
