A new cottage that will serve as a vacation house and eventually a guest house when the primary residence is built nearby. Care was taken to provide a plan that allows for a flexible use of spaces while using natural building materials and appropriate landscaping to integrate the structure into a woodland setting. The layout and setting take maximum advantage of adjacent forest canopy and views across a field and small valley to the hill farms beyond.
