This kitchen remodel is in a 1925 Prairie-style Sears kit home. The design objective was to match the kitchen to the style of the rest of the house, while leaving all exterior walls in their current configuration, and salvaging whatever architectural features and materials we could. The custom cabinets feature a hand-cut tulip design, a motif pulled from stained glass elsewhere in the house, which is also repeated on the new hardwood floors.
