For this apartment renovation where the homeowners were a young, energetic couple, we wanted to have fun and take some risks. This included gutting the dated, carpeted 1980s interior and starting fresh with modern lines and fun design features, like the avocado kitchen, the bathroom's mustard cabinetry and an expansive plywood banquette and bench that maximizes functionality while adding a Scandinavian edge to the space. This small apartment really benefited from a few big-impact moments that channelled the homeowners' unique personality and eclectic style.
