How would you want your parents to live in their retirement community?

The board of this senior living community hired me to redesign their current community center space where the residents could come socialize and relax.

The original condition of the community center had furniture that had been pieced together with no rhyme or reason, and it looked uninviting where the residents didn't want to gather.

I transformed this space into an incredibly warm and contemporary area that now allows for the residents to enjoy their daily activities and have great conversations feeling happy to be in the room with comfortable furniture.

During the winter season the fireplace offers great warmth for the residents to enjoy.
