This project was centered around the clients love for natural elements. First, we removed all of the dated tile floors and incorporated rich hand-stained wood floors throughout. Hints of blues, greens, and pinks are scattered throughout the design to create a serene and inviting space. The living, dining, and kitchen are open and expansive so it was important to design with a sense of scale in mind. The original paint palette was tan and we changed that to a cream palette to allow for continuity, freshness, and light. Black leathered granite countertops anchor the white cabinets that make the kitchen feel airy. The decorative custom backsplash highlights the transitional style of the home along with the exposed stone above the cooktop. The living room and the adjacent dining room are highlighted with greens and pinks; including a soft green painted ceiling in the dining room. Gold framed art add balance to the white walls. Floral motifs can be found in all the spaces - upholstery, art, and accessories.
