The client wanted a garden for entertaining and relaxing. With the garden studio already in place Garden Builders built two areas either side and united the space with a sawn York stone terrace. A bespoke fire table is the focal point for a seating area with a unique bench curving around to maximise seating. The bench is made of yellow paddle stone and topped with sawn York stone to tie-in with the terrace. A skilled stonemason bull nosed the bench capping on site for an immaculate finish.
Sitting on a black basalt flooring the bbq station is clad in a charcoal stone with a black granite top, clearly defining the two entertaining areas. An Ipe decking area edged with black basalt steps surrounds the dining area and creates a relaxed transition to the informal seating space.
