The Garden Builders both designed & landscaped this beautiful London garden. The client was very involved in the design process as they had a strong vision for the space from the outset. The garden works included a complete overhaul of the whole area from the perimeter inwards. New block rendered boundary walls complete with horizontal cedar slatted screening replaced the old timber fencing to give a modern feel to this low maintenance garden. Internal raised, rendered beds of varying heights were created adding lots of layered interest to the garden and additional seating areas. Incorporated into two of these walls were two stainless steel water blades producing cascading water down into the lower pool that cut across and separated both upper and lower terraces. The central pool divided both terraces and a central stepping stone has to be crossed to gain access to rear garden terrace. Both floor areas were laid using ceramic tiles to match the internal kitchen layout and all grid lines were perfectly aligned to flow from inside and out. Beautiful planting is incorporated throughout the garden and numerous border lights and submersible water lights illuminates the garden into the evening.
