Small Garden Design in Putney
A contemporary small garden design in Putney with rendered raised beds, slate and basalt paving, timber screening in horizontal slatted design, large shed, lighting and planting.
Natural cleft slate paving is intersected with basalt paving.
An outdoor rattan sofa arrangement with a coffee table and two armchairs creates a stylish and comfortable seating perfect for entertaining or relaxing.
Existing fences were painted and clad with Western Red Cedar battens.
The large shed located at the back of the garden was part of the initial brief from the client but due to the timber screen in front of it it's nicely disguised and hardly visible. Screen also creates an attractive background to the main entertaining space in front of it.
Project also included landscaping works to the front garden, a new wall was build with new railings with gate, paving works and a metal bike storage was installed.
Olive trees in the raised beds create nice focal points to look at and also add height in the garden.
Lights complete the design transforming the garden into an attractive space at night.
Red bricks in Leicester red colour were used to keep the front wall in-keeping with the character of the street. New railings and gate in a traditional design add a really nice detail to the front of the property.
