The clients at this new build house in Surrey asked Andy Sturgeon Design to produce a fantastic garden design for them. Once you enter the garden you are immediately taken back by the stunning sweeping curves of the large scale gabion retaining walls that run for over forty meters. The cages were carefully filled with Purbeck stone to give great impact to the garden and is a cheaper alternative to brick or block built walls. On the other side of the drive was mature clipped blocks Carpinus hedging of various height to help graduate the decline in levels from the raised drive down to the house.
