Award-Winning Urban Landscape Design

The landscape design just perfect for a small urban backyard. A great use of a small space! One advantage of this small yard - little maintenance is required.

This project won a 2011 Contractor of the Year (CotY) award in the Outdoor Living category from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI), and a 2011 MNLA Landscape Design Award for its sleek and understated renovation.

Beautiful Small Landscape
The client wanted patio space for a chair so she could relax in the sun when the mood struck. The only spot in the yard with any sun is near the fence gate. A full-range New York Bluestone patio was added using 30” x 30” slabs. These slabs are dry-set so leveling was a challenge.
