Front Yard Ambiance

This home is dramatic by both day and night. The front yard is level but the back is a steep hill. Flagstone steppers were used for the walk from the front to the back where the yard dramatically drops off. A boulder retaining wall with a railroad tie fence at the top separates the home from the hill.

Back Yard with a View - Landscaping Stones And Pavers

The path from the front of the house to the back is made of large flagstone. The retaining wall is made of boulders and the split-rail fence were used in keeping with a more natural look. Of course, the fence is there for safety purposes. Wouldn't want your guests tumbling down the hill!

The stepping stones and boulders surrounded by mulch give the side yard a natural feel. Note there is a boulder retaining wall helping to stabilize the ground at the back of the house. Paver patio with an upper deck provide plenty of space to entertain.

Flagstone steppers and path lights show the way to the back yard patio and deck. Split rail fence is there for safety.

This stamped/colored/textured concrete walkway is lit with path lights and lined with shrubs.

We used trees and boulders to soften the corner of the home. It also extends the home, making it look larger. The flagstone steppers toward the back provide sure-footing to the back deck and patio.

This outdoor lighting adds to the warmth and presence of this home. Safety and security are also addressed with low-voltage lighting. Note how the uplighting on the stone brightens an otherwise dark corner of the home. This home stands out in the neighborhood!

Outdoor Lighting Enhances the Architecture - Outdoor Lighting

The home, walkway and plantings are enhanced by the outdoor lighting. The front walk is stamped, custom-colored, textured concrete. Outdoor lighting does double duty, showing off the architectural elements of the home while providing safe passage to the front door.
