For this project the existing Pony Walls were rebuilt to include a Bench, Book Shelves and Columns all in a Craftsman style. Custom built in our wood shop, all were made to provide storage space, including the Columns. A magnetic push-to-open mechanism was used on the Pony Wall Cabinets as well as the Columns, so that there are no Cabinet Pulls, allowing for a clean uncluttered design. Additionally, with the front door opening directly into the living room, a much-needed transitional space was created by changing the bookcase by the front door into a bench.
