This client had a large attic space they wanted to convert to a guest room. We were able to build custom winder stairs to provide code compliant access and installed a Velux Cabrio balcony skylight to better connect the space to the outdoors. We worked with the client to create a Fachwerk style architectural accent with the roof framing that spoke to their Austrian background. The wood paneled accent wall and light maple floors help make the cozy space feel more open and bright.
