With this painted kitchen, we avoided caulking cracks and joints by adding a thin copper tone glaze over the pigmented white conversion varnish base coat and then rinsed it back with paint thinner. This allowed them to all read as open, even if they were intermittently bridged with the color coat. The water-white clear acrylic conversion varnish topcoat will not yellow, and this color will remain true for years to come. It coordinated well with the copper hardware we added, as well as the copper display pieces on the open shelves. This customer was very pleased with the outcome
