This 25 year old kitchen had been natural lacquered fir. The finish was beginning to fail in the usual places by the sink. The homeowners had begun to strip the old finish and restained a few parts before handing the project over to us. We completed the stripping process back down to raw wood, and then restained with the same stain they had been using. The lower sheen acrylic conversion varnish turned out quite lovely
