Craftsman Home gets a refresh

This house was built in the early 70's and was trapped in that era. The dark brick facade across the front, which combined with the high front eave, made the house unbalanced. The mismatched windows, crumbling stucco, front door with rosettes and brick red paint hid the appealing features this house had. Replacing all the windows across the front to match, a new craftsman front door, custom built cedar shutters, adding stacked stone to the front column, covering the stucco with Hardiplank and painting the entire house one color, as well as adding a pediment to the high eave, really showed off the craftsman style. This house now has tons of curb appeal that the entire neighborhood is enjoying. During this project neighbors would stop by daily to comment on what a difference the changes were making. This home is truly a testament of what trusting your designer can accomplish!
