This bathroom started with a typical tub and tile surround. The homeowner was interested in aging in place so the shower had to go. Large format marble look tiles were installed over the Schluter system, making the shower worry free. A curbless entry was cost prohibited in this bath, so my team installed a very low curb, ( 2.5" high) with a marble cap to alleviate grout joints. This allows a wheelchair or walker to pass over this with no issues. This bath will last longer than the customer's life thanks to timeless design, and the Schluter sysytem.
